Contract Backend Engineer

3-month contract to rebuild our API layer. Current system is a monolith nightmare. We need someone who can move fast with AI tools and deliver a clean, scalable microservices architecture.

Scope:

- Decompose monolith into microservices

- Set up proper CI/CD pipeline

- Implement observability and monitoring

- Document everything for the team

Pay is $150/hr for the right person. Remote, async-first.
